The Light Bearer

Deborah King would say that the part of us that does not remember our nature as a light bearer is our personal darkness. It shows up as our “issues” – our life challenges, childhood wounds, negative personality traits, and limited mindsets. These aspects of ourselves disappoint or shame us, so we drive them into our unconscious where we don’t have to acknowledge them, thus creating a dark side. Although your dark side may be hidden from view, it always plays itself out in your life. What would you consider to be your light qualities (assets/allies) and your dark qualities (liabilities/adversaries) and how can you learn to love them both for the lessons they bring are of equal value.. .. growth!
