How To Live Unity

How To Live Unity

One of the most rewarding aspects of being a Unity minister is when I meet individuals who seek a deeper understanding of Unity. As they try to see their reality from a different perspective, their questions tend to challenge our beliefs and values. This not only gives me a chance to discuss the Unity philosophy, but it also forces me to look at the world from a different perspective, one that broadens my appreciation of how universal Unity really is. From all of the people I have met along my personal spiritual path, it’s clear to me that the world is longing for compassion, direction and oneness. Here are some examples of these questions that perhaps you may have pondered at one time: How can we use our crises and challenges to make a difference? How can we answer human problems unless we are open to a higher knowledge and power? If we were capable of answering the problems by ourselves, would we not already have done so? How can we be one with others when we ourselves lack unity and understanding? This book is a resource to understanding the spiritual language of life and the presence of Unity within us and all around us.This book can offer compassion, direction and oneness for you, your families, your communities and your world. On the following pages you will discover both the words that are most often used while discussing Unity Principles, and ways to share the wisdom of these words. We believe our words are powerful and have the capacity to create what we believe in our lives. Beings of Light

Beings of Light

We are not designed to grow old; we are created to grow up and out as beings of light. Some would call this the lightness of being or taking yourself lightly. Whether or not you believe in the Bible, when the Creator said, “Let there be light,” the Creator was talking about you. Even Jesus…

Are You Awake?

Are You Awake?

First, you must realize you are asleep, then you are awake. Then you must die, so you can be born. You can not be born until you die and you can not die until you wake. Jungian psychology I have always enjoyed the story of a multitude of people with Buddha wanting to know how…

Lesson of the Sequoia Tree

Lesson of the Sequoia Tree

The Methodist Class Meeting was much like the Giant Sequoia Trees in California. Just like the Methodist Class Meeting, the Great Sequoias “hold each other up.” They may reach a height of 311 feet, an age of 3200 years. They often weigh 2.7 million pounds. Their bark on the average is 31 inches thick. Their…
