Accepting the Good

Many orators and motivational speakers and some popular ministers tell us repeatedly that God wants us to have everything and to be happy and fulfilled, and although this sells a lot of DVDs and books, it is only partly true. God cannot give us what we are not able to see and accept. We will not see it; we will pass it by, sabotage it, and ill-wish it.

Until we are ready to accept that we can be happy and fulfilled, impassioned and energized, we will not believe that there is a God who wishes it so. I know this to be true from all the years of being a scientific study myself.
