(GPS) God-Personalized System

(GPS) God-Personalized System

I discovered my inner GPS  (God- Personalized System) when I was in my early thirties. I was driving in my car from South Carolina with one of my dear friends. She and I were so busy talking that I failed to turn onto the right highway. Once I realized the error, I had to go several miles around and then all the way back, so we figured it had cost us almost an hour of driving time. When we made it back to where we were supposed to be, we came to a fifteen- or twenty-car pileup. The damage was major. People were dead. My friend and I looked at each other with goose bumps all over us, for we realized that had we taken the right road at the time we had intended, we would have been killed. We would have been right at the front of the pileup.

We were late by an hour and saved for a lifetime. I have never forgotten this. I have continued to live by not being upset in traffic jams or if the car didn’t start or if someone dropped by unexpectedly and delayed me. I remind myself that there is something on the highway or on my path that I am avoiding or being spared from. I’m glad the angels and guides are helping me!

Do you have any good news?

Do you have any good news?

One of the things I realized a few years ago is how people, myself included, would elaborate endlessly to others about all the bad things that happen… the drama, the misfortune, the inconveniences of day to day life, how much gas keeps going up, the cost of living, the way children are today, the spot…

Sacred Texts

Sacred Texts

I’ve always resonated with these words of Carl Jung, stated in Memories, Dreams, and Reflections: “My life often seemed to me like a story that has no beginning and no end. I had the feeling that I was a historical fragment, an excerpt for which the preceding and succeeding text was missing. I could well imagine…

Finding My Shaman

Finding My Shaman

When I visited a friend and congregant who had tragically lost her husband and found her filled with energy, I was astonished. She explained that a shaman had done a ritual on her and invited the energies of her losses throughout the years to come back into her being. In that moment and that space,…
